Wine Lover? 2007
We carried out one of our "usual" whole house installations including Lutron Homeworks lighting control throughout, a Crestron audio and control system, remote monitoring CCTV, a superb home cinema system utilising the Meridian MF1 DILA projector and the customer’s existing Meridian Digital Theatre system. This was all supplemented with several Pioneer plasma screens, the bedroom one being on a motorised bracket that neatly moves the plasma screen towards the viewing position when it is turned on. The owner is a wine lover and has probably the most extensive wine cellar we have seen in a dedicated wine store.
| This image shows the Meridian MF1 projector that has been mounted close to the bulkhead so it is fairyly un-obtrusive. | |
| When the screen is not being used the spectacular art work is carefully illuminated. | |
| With the screen down. The screen uses an ultra-silent multi aspect ratio screen that switches at the press of a button. | |
| The family room has a Pioneer 1080p 50" plasma. | |
| The main equipment is located in a free-standing 19" cabinet in the hall cupboard. | |
|
The master bedroom has a 42" Pioneer plasma screen that is on a motorised bracket that moves the display towards the bed when in use. |
|
| For those wine lovers everywhere - how about this to store your wines. | |
| The owner assures us he does not collect the wine for anything other than drinking (which seems logical to us). Having done a bottle count, we estimate it will take over ten years to drink the store dry. | |
| We are assured that the racks are now fully loaded since we took this picture. | |
