A Class Installation 2006
We carried out one of our "usual" whole house installations including Lutron Homeworks lighting control throughout, a Crestron audio and control system, a home cinema room in the 'den' with 50" plasma screens, the bedroom includes a pop up LCD at the end of the bed. Automation include integration with the gates, music to the garden and pool and some great lighting design. The owner (like many of our cleints) is a wine lover and a purpose-built wine store in the basement.
| The Den includes a full digital surround AV system with 50" plasma screen. All of the speakers are hidden in the jounery unit along with the DVD player and games consoles and Sky HD box. The main AV amplifier is located in main system rack in the basement below. | |
| The bathroom features fiber-optic lighting which produces a wonderful starlight effect at night time. The whole house and grounds are controlled by the Lutron Homeworks system which provides excellent control as well as energy saving. | |
| Four touch screen web tablets provide complete control of the AV and music systems. | |
| More and more homes nowdays are having dedicated wine cellars installed. This example is well fitted out and we are pleased to say is now full since this picture was taken! | |
| The basement games room houses all of the main AV equipment which is fitted into a racking system under the stairs. Doors on the other side of the stairs allow for simple access to the rear of the racks for maintenance. | |
| The games room includes a dart board, bar billiards, LCD tv and surround system and a selection of arcade machines including the original space invaders and asteroids. | |
| All of the AV equipment is on show fitted into the Middle Atlantic racks with good rear access. Notice the build-in sub woofer that is located behind the fabric to the left of the equipment racks. |
