Meridian was founded by Bob Stuart - an electronics graduate - and Allen Boothroyd- a design graduate. A shared interest in music and audio design led them to establish Meridian in 1977. This unusual pairing of designer and engineer has produced some of the most innovative products ever seen. Meridian's particular expertise is in digital products where they are recognised as the market driver. Meridian were the first company to produce a digital loudspeaker and also manufacture one of the most advanced digital processors on the market, the 861.

MK_LOHO.GIFM&K is a Californian company set-up in 1974 by enthusiast Ken Kreisel. M&K's career began impressively when Kreisel was asked to design a monitoring system for mix-down of 1973 Steely Dan Classic, Pretzel Logic. This is the company for subwoofer and satellite packages that offer state-of -the-art quality with film and music sources. M&K speakers are permanently installed in our home theatre demonstration room.

QED was founded in England in 1973 by Bob Abraham and Ian Vine. its early products consisted merely of a series of audio switching boxes and a speaker cable called 79 strand. However, 79 stand cable became near-legendary and the company now produces a huge range of cables and switching boxes for every eventuality. QED has also entered the Custom Installation market with two distributed audio systems called Systemline and MusiQ.
