The rCube is Arcams first venture into the world of iPod docking systems and they have succeeded with flying colours.
This fairly diminutive box manages to pack in a lot of sound with surprising depth and clarity. Very musical, it will make the most of your MP3s and is definitely one of the best docks on the market. Optionally you can add a dongle which uses KLEER wireless technology, to allow you to walk around with your iPod whilst playing it through your rCube. This same technology can also allow you to connect your PC and stream wirelessly from that, connect rCubes together or even connect directly to a variant of Arcams rDAC to improve the sound quality through your hi-fi!
Did we forget to mention that it also has a battery allowing you to carry it around for 4 hours of musical enjoyment? The rCube is definitely one of this year’s most versatile and impressive products.
