Kaleidescape
The Kaleidescape DVD and music system starts with the all-in-one mini-system. This system is the reference bench-mark for DVD server technology and is used in most high end home and yacht installations. The storage devices used are “enterprise level” (from the same stables as large capacity commercial servers) to provide a robust and reliable solution. Remote rooms are handled with local players which steam either video or music from the central server(s). The more affordable mini system bring starting prices to under £7000 for a complete solution which includes 2 zones of audio from the one box. The Kalidescape system can be controlled using its own infra red remote, Philips Pronto, Crestron control system or using the recently launched i-touch or i-phone application.
