Digital Media
The way we listen to, store and access our music has been changing over recent years. Over 8 years ago, before the Apple I-pod existed, we were already supplying digital music servers to our customers. With internet speeds increasing and more on-line music services becoming available, where our content is stored is becoming less important.
Whilst most internet downloads are compressed files, which are less good quality than CD was when it was launched 25 years ago, we have the ability to store all of your music in “lossless” formats and you can also purchase and download studio quality master recordings which can sound amazing.
There are many examples of this technology on the market, and within the past few years both Linn and Naim have added high end offerings, which can sound even better than the CD players they replace.
We are constantly looking for the best leading-edge solutions and our range of devices for streaming music and video have now expanded and includes a variety of options which will suit all customer needs at different price and performance levels.
We now have products from Sooloos (Meridian), Naim Audio, Linn, Kaleidescape, and Sonos in our range, each with their own differences and unique solution which we are describing in more detail over the following pages. All are available for demonstration at Grahams.
